PhD Scholarships – Danish/European-Chinese Social Science Research


Business Scholarships The PhD should do research that is embedded in a research project that is already on the CBS associated with the initiative of the Sino-Danish Center-University (see http://www.sinodanishcenter.dk/ website). Scholarships will be available starting August 1, 2011.

PhD Scholarships:

PhD Business Scholarships can be located in each department or center at CBS who have research on issues related to the Denmark-China SDC and departments / centers must be competent supervision in the field. Core research areas are (1) welfare, social innovation, public management and social development and innovation management (2). Business Scholarships More specifically, the research projects must be placed in the field of research as follows:

Welfare Details:

Business Scholarships Broad group of political economists, sociologists, economists and political scientists focus on Comparing Welfare regime, the Institutional Competitiveness and Social Innovation. Fully Funded Doctoral Scholarships 2011 by NUI Maynooth Ireland


This Business Scholarship is directed to support new research students who have demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and who want to develop their teaching and professional skills, and contribute to pedagogical development in their discipline.

Announcement Details:

NUI Maynooth today announced 12 new Business Scholarship fully funded doctoral teaching at the University starting in September 2011, worth around € 84,000 each for 4 years. It also announced accepting applications for the 30 John & Pat Hume Research Scholarship for PhD students this year and also for the 20 additional scholarships for taught Masters courses - one for each department at the University. This Business Scholarship brings investment in research NUI Maynooth students to further € 2 million annually.

Eligibility Details:

http://thescholarshipprogramme.com Entry requirements for PhD programs established by each department, but all scholarship applicants must hold either: • The first class honors degree; • top class honors with a first primary in the proposed discipline. • class first taught a master's degree (or equivalent), or • hold a Master in Science and Engineering Research Faculty, applicants must hold a top class honors with a first major title in the proposed discipline or the first in their final research project. The Business Scholarship degree of this may have come from Ireland, the European Union or from universities abroad. Those who have started a research degree at NUI Maynooth before the application will not be eligible for a scholarship competition for that level. Those who have received scholarships to complete a research degree will not be eligible to apply for funding for a research degree 2 in both the Masters or Doctoral level.

Africa Biosciences Challenge Fund Business Scholarships Research Fellowships

Postdoctoral Position Business Scholarships


The Business Scholarships second task of the applicant is to develop a method for using ray-tracing package McStas to generate virtual data for the instruments of the European Spallation Source (ESS). This data will be used as virtual inputs for new data analysis tool, developed in the ESS Data Management and Software Center and in MANTID international cooperation. and experience in neutron scattering and related data analysis.http://www.callforpapersinfo.com

Applicant must be familiar with Monte Carlo simulation with McStas, including virtual experiments, and has experience with teaching and e-learning. This position will be for 2 to 3 years, depending on project funding.

Research Business Scholarships


Deakin University offers a range of Business Scholarships for higher degrees by research.Selection for scholarships is based on academic merit, research experience, publications relative to opportunity, alignment of the project with strategic priorities and the supervisory experience/support of the potential supervisor.The Business Scholarships primary criterion is a high standard of Honours (a year of assessed research following an undergraduate course) or its equivalent. Equivalence could include:

-research Masters’ degree with at least 2/3 of the degree comprising a thesis graded at 80%+.
-coursework Masters’ degrees or graduate diplomas which includes a research project or thesis of 10,000 to 20,000 words to 80%+ standard, and research methodology units
-comparable qualifications from international universities including a research project or thesis of 10,000 to 20,000 words to 80%+ standard
-relevant postgraduate research experience
-independently refereed journal articles, publications, or conference papers
-professional reporting or prior learning
-research related awards or prizes
-other evidence of research ability
Higher degrees by research does not include the Doctor of Business Administration.
